About the event
All around us, hidden in the quiet corners of parks and trails, grows a world of wild abundance—edible plants, roots, berries, and blossoms that have nourished humans for centuries, yet rarely make it to the modern plate.
Join a seasoned forager for a guided walk through the park, where you’ll learn to recognize these forgotten foods and natural wonders. Along the way, we’ll slow down and tune into the language of the land— identify edible and medicinal plants, and rediscover a deeper connection with the world just outside our doors.
This is an invitation to see with new eyes, to taste what the earth offers when we know where and how to look.
We’ll end our journey by gathering together to enjoy a small, curated tasting of seasonal snacks, all lovingly crafted from wild-foraged ingredients. A sensory celebration of the land and its overlooked gifts.
