About the event
Ready to see Golden Gate Park like never before? This isn’t just a walk— it’s an adventure into the wild heart of the city. We’ll wander through trails and uncover spring’s edible treasures such as miner’s lettuce, chickweed, fir tips and elderflowers.
You'll learn the stories of these unexpected edibles. As well, you'll learn the art of ethical foraging and what to look for in the streets of San Francisco. As well, you'll learn how to use wild food as medicine, and to reconnect with the land in a way that feels both ancient and new.
We will end the walk with a wild food grazing platter, and you'll get to enjoy some of the wild foods you just learned about. You’ll never look at this park the same way again!
